We need your help. Become an Early Bird Cafe volunteer
The Early Bird Cafe has over 1,800 volunteers and without them we simply could not do the things we do. Our volunteers cover 175 shifts every week, starting at 6:00am rain, hail or shine!
Our volunteers take turns at serving hot drinks and brekky from the church steps, preparing the meals in the kitchen or collecting food and supplies. Everything that happens at Early Bird, is completed by volunteers, even the making of this website!
As you could imagine, our volunteers are so important to us not only for the time and effort to open the doors, but for the friendly face and conversation they offer.

I love volunteering at EBC, whether it be in the kitchen or out the front serving our customers. Our customers always greet us with a warm smile and genuine appreciation of EBC, and it is a very strong reminder of how we can always choose to be kind irrespective of circumstance.
